a not-so-ordinary day in bambang
More than a month ago, my blockmates and I went to Bambang to buy stuff for our stash. I took the opportunity to inquire if there were stores that sell just the lens part of the ophthalmoscope. There were none however I was glad that someone named James said they can fix my scope but then I was not able to bring it that time. So, the guy. took out the shop’s calling card, wrote down his name, and said to look for him when I come back.
This morning I went to the same store and asked if there was someone named James. By the look on the saleslady’s face, I was waiting for her to say, “ay wala siya eh. Anong kailangan mo?” But no!!! Sabi niya… Ay nag-asawa na ‘yun! ATE naman!! Mukha ba akong naghahanap ng lalaki?! May asawa pa?! OMG!!
